Winter Wine Bar

This July our winter wine bar is all about discovery of red wines from Barossa's Eden Valley region.

Taste Eden Valley Regional Wine Room introduces a winter wine bar after hours. Join us while we help you take the chill off the winter weather to snuggle around the open log fire and tantalise your way through red wines from the Barossa – Eden Valley region.

Regional Platters are available everyday from 10am - 3.30pm.

If you have any dietary requirements please notify us when making you order as we can easily change items to suit your needs.

Regional platter items are sourced from local and regional artisan food producers ensuring the finest  quality. Taste Eden Valley is accredited with the Barossa Trust Mark and Eat Local (South Australian recognised food movement).

The open log fire will entice you in the cooler months but for those who prefer outdoors, the gardens surrounding the cottage will delight many nature lovers.


Experience the ultimate indulgence of Wine & Chocolate matching at Taste Eden Valley in Angaston. From the enormous array of premium single vineyard wines, we have selected each wine to match perfectly with hand crafted chocolate truffles.

For those seeking something a little bit different and definitely indulgent, wine and chocolate flights are sure to please.

If wine is not your thing, enjoy a dark couverture hot chocolate instead.

For All Wine Appreciators - Learn how to Sniff, Swirl & Slurp!

Every Saturday we have a 30 minute express wine appreciation class to teach you some of the basics.

Don't start your Barossa wine tasting adventure without a lesson on what it's all about.

This is a fun educational  session to cover some tips  to enjoy wine regions a  bit more. Discover the varying regions in the Barossa and how this influences wine styles and wine varieties. Why Shiraz grapes can be peppery in the high country as opposed to the jammy reds found in the lower parts of the Barossa. Bring your friends and set aside half and hour to make you a bit more of a connoisseur!

Saturday's 10.30 - 11.00 am or 2.00 - 2.30 pm $25 pp redeemable on any six bottle wine purchase.
