Chaffey Bros Wine Co. BluhenPunkt - meaning Blossom Point
A new wine variety from Chaffey Bros wine Co. has been released. Sourced from single vineyard is a hand picked 100% Gewurztraminer. Grown from old vines in the Fechner family vineyard located in the northern end of Eden Valley/ Barossa region, known as Moculta.
Gewurztraminer is aromatic and delicate on the palate but unlike the European wine styles Gewurztraminer in the Barossa region is dry, light and a perfect food match for shellfish, spicy cuisine & cheese platters. This is a great wine for those of us who enjoy fruity wines without too much sweetness and soft smooth finishes.
