The 2013 The Four Corners Shiraz shows ripe cherry characters, plum, red & white peppers and a savoury finish. This is a full bodied and rich wine with fine oak complexity and silky tannin finish on the palate.
The Four Corners is a style created by Andrew & Michelle to showcase the diversity of Shiraz from the Eden Valley region; small parcels sourced from premium vineyards across the four corners of Eden Valley. Each parcel of fruit was fermented separately in open vats. The wine is left to mature for a further 24 months in French hogsheads.
Only 490 dozen produced.
The 2013 vintage delivered wine of intense colour and weighty fruit palates. For Eden Valley the yields were down but packed intensity into the wine grapes delivery higher than usual alcohol and grippy tannin.
For those who are in love with the big reds than 2013 is definitely a vintage for you!
